Trying something new... I didn't keep up with a picture a day, but this one, you take 10 pictures on the 10th of every month, that show kind of what your life is like at that time... so - here's our June 10th! Caleb helping me with the kids, feeding Megan

believe it or not, this is a color picture. it was very grey and icky most of the day. makes me sleepy.

Caleb and Levi built a fort in the backyard, using the dead christmas tree, and a bunch of other stuff the found around. They watch too many survival shows!

Levi - yep, he's pulling a sled around the yard on June 10th. I guess it was their 'wheelbarrow' for fort supplies.

Jason's brother and his family are coming up for the weekend, we're so excited that they're coming! While it will hopefully provide lots of picture opportunities, I won't have much time to post pictures, so i'll do these ones that I have. :)

1.18 Cousin Brady (Rob's son) in his 8th grade basketball game here in Mitchell this week. He had 2 3 pointers, about 18 points total - so fun to get to see him play!

1.19 - I love this kid... so very much.

1.20 - Baby Truin came and stayed with us for about an hour thursday, had to snag the opportunity to snap some pictures of her. in her adorable outfit, and her awesome hair! :) It stands straight up. she's the sweetest.

i love that in this picture it looks like she's making the i love you hand. :)

New set of pictures! on Thursday - we had a mini photo shoot, so there's a *few* more than one picture. :)

1.7 - I worked the crop at the scrapbook store that friday night, we scrapped until midnight! I got a bunch done on levi's school book I'm working on. (cell phone picture)

1.9 - we never took our family picture by the christmas tree yet this year, so we did that Sunday so we can finally take the tree down. This might not be the best pic we took, but it's one of my favorites. ;)

So far so good! I've taken some pictures each day this week. Here are the first four. I still haven't decided exactly when I'm going to post them, so i'm just going to do them when I feel like it for now.

Jan 1 - Levi and his mountain of pizza. We spend the afternoon/evening playing pictionary on the wii, it was so much fun!

Jan. 2 - sledding with friends. such a great time. I hardly ever get pictures of Jason, and I love this one.

Jan 3 - back to school and Caleb had lots of homework. He's kind of at that age where he likes to give us trouble about homework. so it's a battle.

Jan. 4 - our friends John and Renee had their baby. Amirrah is SO SWEET and super TINY! I just love this quick snap of Amirrah and her mommy.

Well, I didn't even try to do the photo a day in 2010. But I've decided to try it again this year. I haven't decided how i'm going to do it, if i'm going to post each day, or if i'm going to post once a week, we'll see. To start I went to pick out my 10 favorite pics of 2010, and i couldn't stick to ten. so then I decided 10 with people, and 10 scenery pictures. Well, a few more with people. Some are a favorite because of the quality of the photo itself, but many more are favorites because of the emotion they bring me when i look at them. :) enjoy.

This week we're thankful for healthy girls! The boys and I got to spend some time with Fredel and her 2 beautiful girls this afternoon. Verity is doing so well! and Jalen has been sick with a respiratory virus and an ear infection. So great to see all three of them doing so well. and just LOOK at how cute they are!

he got in some trouble today, so he didn't get to play in the snow after school.

Wednesday night was wailing wounded night at awana, and the kids learned about how God can heal not only injuries and illness, but also heal us from our sins. They were to come 'wounded' here's Caleb and his friend Noah. :D

Levi's friend Ethan was over to play with us today. and the WHOLE time Ethan was here - they were crazy! :) They had so much fun. They were playing starwars, and knights, and spies, and all kinds of things.

I got them to let me snap a couple pictures while they were spies. but I had a hard time getting them to hold still enough for pics with out the flash.

Little E's new car was in Mitchell today for people to stop by and look at - J took the boys for a few minutes right before they were done. And they got to see them load it into the truck. Boys thought it was super cool! J says it will be hard to remember Jr.'s got a WHITE car! :)

Wow! I can't believe it that I actually stuck with this for a whole month. :)

today - my picture is of Caleb...he's home sick from school today, I have no idea what's going on with him - but he's going into the dr at 4:00. He was sick Saturday, fine sunday and monday, then sick Tuesday morning, fine tuesday evening and wednesday, and now sick again this morning... Hopefully the dr can give us some kind of answer as to what's going on.

this is a lucky shot - I was going to snap some pics (with my new awesome camera) of the little guy I watch during the day, and he was standing up to the chair (his newest trick) and I snapped ONE picture and his dad came to the door to pick him up...

amazingly - it's kind of a good picture. this is sooc (that's for you dorothy) no editing what so ever. isn't he cute?

this camera has served our family WELL for the last 2 years. taken almost 10,000 pictures, gone with us to soccer 100s of times, to the pool, and out sledding, it went on vacation and got dropped, it's been to the park, and to weddings...

yeah - today I learned a photography lesson. there is NO way to get a good picture of a 4 month old who is tired, missing her mama, and just had her shots... no matter how cute she is.

not sure what prompted me to start thinking about my wedding ring today, but I noticed this morning in church in the bright lights, how sparkly it still is...got me to trying to figure out how long I've had it. Well, the whole thing, almost 12 years, but just the engagement part, I got in April of 1995...woah... :) long time! When I sat on the floor by the window today to take the picture of my ring Jason was walking past, and tossed his down too...so here they are. Mine has a broken prong, and J's has had a diamond replaced once... still love them though! :)

once in a while...there are moments in our house - that just have no words....this is one.
how incredibly adorable are they? this was taken with out a flash, in a room that was WAY too dark, so I played with it in photoshop a little, made it black and white, upped the contrast, the brightness, and some other stuff. :)

and for those know Levi all well to "buy" the authenticity of this picture...no he wasn't actually sleeping, he was listening...
